The Music Video for Hot Mess by Cobra Starship.
This was an advertisement when Zac Posen did a Target line for Australia last year.
Supposedly, he only did the gig for the free trip to Australia! Haha. Nonetheless, Australia got a designer line especially made for them!
Finally we get to feel the love.
Zac Posen for Target will be available in Target stores nationwide from April 25th through May 30th.
This limited edition line will start as low as $15. Squeal.
Here are some of his amazing designs:
The dresses will supposedly be around $80 each. If that is the case, I am saving up my pennies for that gorgeous red ruffle dress!

His designs, as said by the man himself in the April Teen Vogue, are "flirtatious and fun" but with a "punk, tough quality too." It is apparent in his latest collection for Target.
Because the collection will be out in April, when Prom will be celebrated, his dresses will have Prom inspired pieces while maintaining high fashion. "Prom is one of the few opportunities in life when you can fulfill any romantic desires you have," Posen says in April's Teen Vogue, "and there's no prenup attached to it."
Although the romantic dresses in his collection are evidently Prom inspired, one outfit in particular might not have caught the eye of some as Prom inspired. "It takes a kick-ass girl who can wear a tuxedo to prom!" says Posen about his Prom inspired tuxedo for women.
Posen wanted to "address things that are actually happening" with his tuxedo design. "Lesbian proms have been such a big thing in the news lately," he says. "Not that you need to be gay to wear a tux; it just takes confidence," the designer explains.
(Thank you to April's Teen Vogue article with excellent quotes from Posen! The article is called "Zac Attack" , from pages 85-86, and is written by Jane Keltner. This is merely for entertainment purposes only.)
Now... You might be wondering why more and more designers are jumping on the Target band wagon. There are many reasons - for the money (we are in a recession, after all), to become household names (the attention designers get when collaborated in Target is huge!) and to challenge themselves to appeal to the masses (think about it: afforable fashion from high-end designers? designs available for all types of people? that's definitely a challenge!). Whatever reason Posen is using, he definitely hits the Target. (Too soon for puns?)
In other news...

UPDATE FROM 4/1/10: THESE BABIES ARE SOLD OUT!
What else needs to be said? Oh, wait, let me give it a try... I want one!
Yup.
I love Urban Decay. Available in Sephoras now.
Although, if you haven't noticed, Tarina Tarantino, a famous jewelry and accessories designer with bright pink hair, has recently launched her own make-up line. It has unfortunately "replaced" the Urban Decay in the mall nearest to my house, so you might want to check bigger malls with more selection. I'm sure they still have Urban Decay there. Either way, I have a $50 Sephora card I have been waiting to use since I got it for Christmas. This just might be the one set I'll buy! We'll see!
And lastly...
FAIR TRADE EVERYTHING.
Do you know what that means?
The producers of the product, be it chocolate, coffee, clothes, gets paid fairly for their labor. Some people in developing countries get paid as little as two cents a day. A day! By buying something with symbols like this:
You ensure that all of the workers are paid justly.

Very cool.
Well that's it!
I hope you enjoyed it!
